Summary/Abstract: This paper considers the legal and factual status of the Muslim religious associations in the Republic of Poland. That specific panorama one by one discusses strictly Muslim religious associations as well as the religious associations of the denominations that are linked to Islam or come from Islam. The first attempt was made to reconstruct the legal status of the Muslim Religious Union in Poland. Then the discussion considered the legal status of the Association of Muslim Unity, Islamic Assembly of Ahl-ul-Bayt, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Sufi Order of the West in Poland, the Bahaʼi Faith and the Muslim League in Poland in order of their entry in the register of churches and other religious organizations. Then their operational capability, links to foreign religious organizations and elements of their financial status have been analyzed. The conclusion may be only one. All those organizations are legally equal but it does not change the fact that their abilities to implement their statutory objectives are varied. However, the paper is preliminary and should be an inspiration for further, in-depth research.
