Summary/Abstract: Intrapreneurial employees are a strategic asset of every corporation. Owing to their creative approach to problems and opportunities occurring in the environment, new valuable solutions can be produced. It is them who constitute the driving force of corporate entrepreneurship. It is principally thanks to them that enterprises implement innovations, develop and achieve spectacular results. Entrepreneurial employees should be motivated to act by using specific instruments, as not all of them will perform well in their case. The most successful ones are those that prompt internal motivation mechanisms, connect employees with an enterprise, cause that they identify with its objectives, are loyal and dedicated. However, not all corporations motivating to creativity take into consideration specific needs of entrepreneurial employees. Their potential is not always properly exploited and the work climate fails to encourage to become involved and take risky decisions.
