Summary/Abstract: Libraries and archives deal with the documents that are produced by institutions (private or public), the person and the family, which means that many approaches to these documents are of the same nature. However, the criteria governing the form of the access to documents are not the same. Again we will find on the ground that the border with archives and libraries when we find ourselves in a mixture of documents produced by some political-institutions, states, municipalities, the Holy See, dioceses, etc.. Often the collections of archives and libraries are jointly completed. We think it would be very important both for the archives and the library to consider that a useful approach for saving information was just the name of the printers, publishers and booksellers, ie. those responsible for the publication, printing and / or distribution.
