Summary/Abstract: Difficulty of secondary school teachers in the use of scientific knowledge in practice is identified. The function of teacher of Institute of Improvement of Professional Skill in the popularization of scientific knowledge among the educators community is discussed. Mechanisms of the simultaneous use of informational and popularizational functions in activities of teacher of Institute of Improvement of Professional Skill are presented. Explanation of conditions of successful implementation informational and popularizational functions by teacher is reached. Special attention is paid to the characterization means of popularization of scientific knowledge among the educators community. Among them, a scientific school, which aims to organize informal communication scientists and practitioners interested in the scientific and educational activities; the creation of real opportunities for the exchange of unique ideas and discussion of research results; solutions search for the implementation of research results in wide practice.
