Summary/Abstract: A review of a book dedicated to changing functions of school libraries and librarians in the context of an information system. The book brings new elements to the existing knowledge in this field, especially the cooperation of teachers with teaching librarians. Difficulties and deficiencies of adolescents in selection and use of documentary material can contribute to the identification of educational activities and, consequently, to their greater efficiency.
