Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present selected issues of legal and political status of Russians in Poland with particular emphasis on the Russian emigrants environment living on the Polish lands during building the foundations of the Second Republic of Poland and to show legal changes within this scope. The author’s intention is also an attempt to complete the existing studies relating to the history of Russian emigration in Poland in the interwar period.
