Public attitudes to disability and disabled tales and visual arts

Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the fairy tales and artistic work of people with disability to assess attitudes towards people with disabilities, their social status, opportunities to equal treatment with non-disabled persons. In Lithuanian scientific literature this topic has not been investigated by philologists or special psychology. It examines the tales and visual art works with mixed encoded provisions for people with disabilities. The whole relationship between the scale – from empathy to moral condemnation forms.
