CONDITIONS AND OPERATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EVOLUTIONS OF THE COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE NATO ADHESION PROCESS

Summary/Abstract: In the article are briefly presented the main political, diplomatic and military events taking place in the pre-adhesion period. Furthermore, the author presents the operational and technical evolutions to develop some Communications and Information Systems (CIS) compatible and interoperable with ones of NATO and Member States. There are underlined efforts often done in a climate of hostility and careless of some political and military leaders.
