Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the vocabulary of traditional culture belonging to a lexical field names for brandy. Material was collected on speaking western Lepenica which belongs to dialect of Šumadija and Vojvodina. The vocabulary is semantically analyzed and generational level, trying to spot development trends of this lexical microsystems and determine areal distribution of some of the constituent mechanisms.
