Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this research is analysis of prevailing linguistic views of Grammar of the Bosnian Language, Parts I and II, published by Naklada Zemaljske Vlade za Bosnu i Hercegovinu/ Publishing company of Bosnian-Herzegovinian Government of the Land), Zemaljska štamparija/State’s Printing House, Sarajevo, 1890. The paper is based on analysis of previous linguistic views of the Grammar as compared to relevant documentary materials. Some of these materials have been used for scientific research and some have not been analyzed, which will also be emphasized in this paper. By analyzing already published professional and scientific papers on this topic, this paper will shed light on the necessity for conducting of further research, correcting and reassessment of some views of the Grammar. In addition to this, it will emphasize a need for permanent and more systematic analysis of documentary materials. The main goal of this paper is to present, from both diachronic and synchronic aspect, scientific views of Grammar of the Bosnian Language published in 1890. The main subject of this research is analysis of the existing linguistic approaches as compared to relevant facts from documentary materials.
