Summary/Abstract: Denmark is a key point on the map of Europe, both through its strategic position in the area, as a bridge between Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, but also by its great economic power. The Danish kingdom is an active leader in regional security issues and a very important player in the Arctic. Denmark is an important member of both the UN and NATO, as founding member in both international organizations.
