Summary/Abstract: This paper investigates the status of truth in the past in Danilo Kis`s A Tomb for Boris Davidovich. We specifically explore the section about A. A. Darmolatov. We considered a conection between aesthetic and political in the case when the language is an ideological conductor. We turn our attention to the strong individuals who participate in the historical events because they can help us solve the problem of whether or not art works that speak about history must be ideological. Finally, we show something beyond ideology if it exists in our society and the way we play our role in the social totality. We investigate something beyond ideology in literature also.
