Summary/Abstract: The paper points out a link between troubadour poetry and its reflexes in the poetic works of Dante and Petrarch. Also examines the phenomenon and the origin of Provencal lyric and variations of motifs in works of these two poets, considering theoretical perspectives of DeRougemont, Kristev and Todorov, theorist which among the other things deal with discourse of love.
