G. Haupt Medal “Battle of Kalish” (1706) from the collection of the National Museum of Archaeology and History of Moldova

Summary/Abstract: The present work analyses the Imperial medal “Battle of Kalish” of the first quarter of the 18th century intended for the non-commissioned officers and soldiers from the numismatic collection of the NMAHM. The silver medal of the famous western-European master G. Haupt who worked in Russia reflects an exciting and impetuous period of the history of the Russian state and is an original monument of art.
