Summary/Abstract: The article offers an analysis of the names of flower plants floronyms, whose explanation is connected with the peculiarities of the national way of life, traditions and views. Plant names with specific curative properties are analysed with a view to the existing medical practice. Structural-semantic varieties are differentiated according to the motivating words.
