Summary/Abstract: Due to the wars in the 19th century Edirne faced to house different migration waves. Beside the migrations, which was caused by the wars it has been occurred some migrations because of political and religious reasons. One of these migrations was the migration by which the founder of Baha’i religion Mirza Hüseyin Ali (Bahaullah) migrated via Bagdad (1863) to Istanbul and four months later from there to Edirne according to an agreement between Ottoman Sultan and Persian Shah. As Bahaullah has been started to reside in Edirne this multi-cultural town became to be considered as an important place for the follower of the Baha’i faith. This research work analyses Edirne Baha’i community in a retrospective point of view.
