Summary/Abstract: In an era of globalization, where barriers of all kinds (ethnical, social, economic, but also cultural and even linguistic) have been overcome, it is important to rediscover folklore, which has become almost extinct from its “natural habitat”, surviving only in books, folklore collections, cultural histories, in television and radio programmes, or in the concert hall, which is not its environment.
