Summary/Abstract: According to the available information and on the basis of so far performed the records of the Republic and the Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments, about 40% of mobile monumental treasures of Montenegro are located in Kotor. Accordingly, the oldest archival and library materials in the Republic is stored in Kotor state and church institutions and private collections.
