Summary/Abstract: Computerization and thus an access to the growing knowledge resources, requires continuous training and gaining new qualifications. The library meetings with students allow to inform them how to easily use the university book collection. Training for new students should be a regular part of the teaching process at the university library. Its main aim is to pass basic, practical knowledge about the library and how to use library resources and services by oneself.
