Summary/Abstract: In today’s societies, modern Technologies and scientific knowledge have come forward as educated and capable human workforce as well as brain power has made the essence of the society. Information society is quite different from previous industrial age and in information society education has utmost importance. In information age, people who are sensitive of modern science and new knowledge acquiring are very important. Hence, in information society, new industries where new knowledge and product creation have gained importance along with education systems, which produce continuous training and graduates with advanced skill sets.As knowledge has become the most significant organizational capital, firms have paid more attention to their Information Systems investments. As organizations develop and implement new management ınformation Systems (MIS), their organizational structures have changed and a need of new Information Systems staff who would develop, implement, monitor these systems and managerial staff who would oversees them are become a necessity. New ınformation Technologies bring changes and in order to cope with these changes, organizations need highly educated, capable and adaptable workforce.In this study, education strategies, structures, curriculums and class content of higher education institutions which provides management Information Systems education in Turkey have been investigated. In this context, 19 universities data which have MIS departments have been analyzed. These universities have been evaluated comparatively and their competitive clusters have been weighted and formed based on technical, analytical, communicational and managerial dimensions.
