Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the study is to determine whether there is an impact of religion and beliefs which are sub-components of culture on vacation preferences of Turkish citizens in Germany. It is examined that culture among socio-cultural factors affecting human behavior has effects on the preferences of tourists. Both the positivist and interpretive approaches are adopted in this study. Face to face survey technique was used to collect the data, and a total of 171 questionnaires were included in the analysis. As a result of this study, it was identified five dimensions that affect the vacation and businesses preferences of the Turkish citizens living in Germany. These five dimensions are cultural proximity, religious views, the facility implemented the policies, plans and programs, and finally, the charm of local elements. As a result of analysis, gender differences, the average income and the participants’ religious belief have effects on vacation preferences.
