SELECTED ASPECTS OF CREATING THE LEGAL AWARENESS IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Summary/Abstract: In the modern era access to information is an essential determinant of society. A special category of information is the one of a legal nature, as shaped by the situation of human functioning in a democratic state of law. Polish legislator takes constant actions to provide the fullest possible protection for citizens. This, however, is also connected with the necessity of raising their legal awareness. In this context a very important aspect is legal education, which occurs both in the school, as well as through access to the rich resources available on the Internet.
