The artistic qualities o f lyricism in Mikhas Stralcov’s prose

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present article is presenting the qualities of the artistic lyricism appearing in the epic pieces of the Belarusian writer Mikhas Stralcov. At the beginning of the article the authoress refers to the issues of lyricism in the Belarusian literature, often discussed in academic writing. In the subsequent part of the article, on the basis of 19 tales and 2 stories by Stralcov she presents the artistic qualities of lyricism manifesting themselves in the texts of the prose writer, and she confirms all her ascertainments with the quotations from the pieces under analysis.
