Summary/Abstract: The article is concerned with K. V. Chistov’s research dealing with the works written by Irina Fedosova, a folk poetess and a famous narratress of folk tales. K. V. Chistov is known as an outstanding folklore specialist (1919–2007). In his study of folklore, the researcher paid special attention to the final work written by Irina Fedosova – a new second edition of “Lamentations of the Northern region compiled by E. V. Barsov”.
