Instruments of Local Governments to Promote the Utilization of Cultural Heritage

Summary/Abstract: The paper is focused on identification and evaluation of the use of instruments of local governments to regulate and support the utilization of immovable cultural heritage in order to develop the territory, followed by identifying main issues and proposing measures to improve the use of local governments’ instruments to support the utilization of cultural heritage. The paper presents the results of research directed at the towns with declared historical town reserves in Slovakia.
