Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present paper is to discuss Edith Steins theory of Being and Values in the light of her „thomist" turning point of phenomenology. The author claims, that there are not only theoretical, but also deeper reasons of this turning point, connected with Stein's conversion. This explains also why she tries to bring Husserl and Aquinas in dialogue. Following this way Stein radicalizes phenomenology on founding it in the ultimate source of all — of Being, Sense and Values — which is the Logos, understood as the Son of God.
