Summary/Abstract: This article discusses issues related to the relationship between the "Development of the Lower Danube macroregion (DDMR) - Danube Strategy of the European Union" and the "Development of the Common European Market." The fact that the common European market should have a maximum of vertical connections (with world markets) and hori-zontal connections (with different regions and their development) is highlighted. The basic principles of connectivity and it’s logistics are outlined, which are generally crucial to the development of multi-scale regions. To understand the problems, to which the solutions will lead to an increase in the "quantity" and "quality” of their connections, the article provides an overview of training and education in this di-rection. Particular attention is directed toward the Lower Danube region and to both specia-lized academies of economics that play a key role within it: The "D.A. Tsenov Academy of Econo-mics ", Svishtov and the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest. Models demonstrate the integra-tion of their efforts in the process of assessing the needs and pro-blems of education, aimed at the development of the Lower Danube macroregion (DDMR).
