Summary/Abstract: The review deals with the second part of the “Literary Theory”, which encompasses texts of literary studies created on the verge of the 19-20th centuries. The discussions presented in the review can be considered as a widening and deepening of the thematic panorama of the book, which is revealed in detailed analysis of concrete key concepts and notions. The history of the term “becoming strange” can serve as an example, which is characterized by its paradox. The technical mistakes or misprints occasionally have widened the connotation fi eld of the term and consequently conveyed new meanings and refl ections. The reviewer places emphasis on the publication of Georgian theoretical-essaystic materials alongside the considerable texts on literary studies after the epoch of romanticism. In addition, the establishment of this anthology of literary studies in educational sphere and its signifi cance are highlighted. solomon tabucaZe
