Summary/Abstract: The cooperative movement in its theoretical assumptions did not recognize the differences in the nationalities but in interwar Poland, in which the national antagonisms were very strong, the na-tional minorities created their own cooperatives. Therefore, in addition to the Polish cooperative existed the cooperative of the national minorities: Ukrainian, German, Jewish and other. Educa-tional activities of the cooperative movement of the minorities took place in various ways. Promot-ing cooperative ideals was held by the printed word. For this purpose the cooperatives maintained their own printers and newspapers, ran publishing houses, founded and maintained libraries. The second important way in which educational activities of the cooperative movement were realized was the spoken word, which helped spread the knowledge and socio-moral values through courses, chats and various meetings. A visual propaganda was also used. It included demonstrations, films and exhibitions. In addition, it is worth to mention the indirect means of propaganda and education such as provision of services to the members and supporters in order to ensure the favor of the so-ciety. The cooperatives organized choirs, orchestras, festivals, tours, theaters, shows, games, pic-nics and various celebrations.
