Summary/Abstract: The author presents the European Certificate of Succession, considering the implementation of Regulation (EU) No 650/2012. The article’s structure and content reveal commentaries on the issuing procedure and on the legal effects of the European Certificate of Succession, on rectifying, modifying or withdrawing the Certificate, considering doctrine elaborated by important names in the field of law (L.-B. Ciucă, I. Olaru). In conclusion, the authors expresses her opinion on practical legal issues raised by the implementation of on the 17th of August 2015 of Regulation (EU) No. 650/2012.
