Summary/Abstract: In the article I attempt to address the question what cultural diversity can teach us about human nature. Knowledge, morality and cooperation are that aspects of human life that tend to show both cultural diversity and similarity between cultures in certain respects. In the text the newest research in developmental psychology is invoked. Finally, in the article I try to asses how F. Fukuyama’s (2004) view on human nature withstand the test of cultural diversity and propose my own conclusions regarding human nature.
