Summary/Abstract: The European ³Faiths and Social Cohesion² project was conducted inItalyby the Parsec association. The question of Islam in this country has just begun to be considered (Candia, 2004) and the establishment of this religion is still rarely being considered at a local level and in a way that would allow the specific characteristics and qualitative aspects to be understood, and in particular, the actions aimed at eliminating the religious discrimination towards Muslims. Here's the case of social participation of Muslim immigrants in several neigborhoods of Roma.
