Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the analysis of the author’s style of the tsar AlexeiMikhailovich’s letters, belonging to the genre of “friendly message”. It touches the problemof genre originality of the monarch’s works and the interaction of Byzantine tradition withthe tradition of the new period in author’s epistolary work.
