Summary/Abstract: Airline transport sector, which is one of the sectors showing the most fastest improvement with globalization, compared to other methods of transportation have become more preferable because it is faster and safer. The sector varies also considerably when compared to most of the sector in terms of market structure and functioning. The airline transport industry different from most other sectors because airline transport demand is derived demand, the demand is high mobility opposite to the stable of the airline supply and market conditions is significantly contestability. In this paper, airline transport market analyzed basic micro-economic variables theoretically such as costs, demand, supply and contestability.
