Summary/Abstract: Although a large number of studies have been conducted on the heresy of “Strigol’niki” in the Russian church, there is little agreement as to its history and creeds. The purpose of this paper is to consider the history and beliefs of the "Strigol'niki" and the Russian Orthodox church’s attitudes toward them.
