Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to systematise legislative regulations that apply to the existence, economic function of securities, their concept under the old and new Civil Code, as well as their production and appearance. The study makes an effort to sum up the most important tendencies that may be drawn from the provisions of the old and new Civil Code that apply to securities.
