Summary/Abstract: One of definitions of innovation is interpreting it as every change that makes something better and gives it new quality. Due to above the article undertakes a try to throw light on economic dimension of teaching Chinese language in Poland discussing consecutively the process to aim at reducing the effort necessary to master Chinese language (i.a. development of calligraphic style, simplification of the amount of strokes within the characters, phonetic systems of Chinese characters transcription, international Program of Chinese Language Learning, changes within HSK exams testing the level of knowledge of Chinese language) as well as contemporary demand and supply of learning this language.
