Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to outstanding works of art of the late nineteenth century – Lviv monumentsArthur Hrother located at the Lviv Lychakivsky cemetery and Dominican Church. Their authorswere of Paris Filippi and Tsypriyan Hodebsky. Artistic features of these monuments are discussedin the context of the city memorial sculpture of this period. The article highlights the mostcharacteristic features sculptured tombs of the late nineteenth century. Peculiarities figurative andplastic making, symbolism, served art analysis of works and their typology based image-scene andcomposite solutions.
