Summary/Abstract: These considerations concern development of visual impressions and observations, art classesbased on observation and pupils’ way of perceiving reality as well as the manner in which theydraw spatial objects placed in their field of vision. Pupils’ ability to notice properties of observedobjects became, among others, present within the scope of scientific interests. Analysis of researchdata, which consisted of pupils’ drawings, involved: consistence with real appearance of objectsthe pupils observed, use of colours and way of presenting third dimension of the objects. The aimof this study was to indicate characteristic features of drawn spatial objects and describe earlyschool age children’s abilities to present observed objects on a sheet of paper with the use of artisticmeans of expression.
