Summary/Abstract: Being written in the context of the martyr movements in Córdoba, Indiculus luminosus represents a source of enlightenment for the adepts of a false religion such as Islam, sustained by the image of the prophet Mahomed. The anti-islamic movement launched by the martyrs of Córdoba and the Muslim domination upon the Mozarabic population will lead Alvaro to launch a manifest against the Islamic religion and the prophet Mahomed, who was responsible for the appearance of a false religion.
