Summary/Abstract: School is a place where children learn social functioning. It is also a place where they have a possibility of entering in multiple interactions with other students, teachers, and school staff. The characteristics of the dependences could be supported by one of the psychotherapy conception - transactional analysis. The author of this article uses its basic terms, such as personality structure, transactions, life positions and signs of recognition to explain the regularity of such relationships. There are also references to the way of time structuring, indicating its varieties such as withdrawal, rituals, activities, entertainment, games and intimacy. That gave the opportunity to look at relationship from the perspective of emotional distance between a student and a teacher.
