Summary/Abstract: The article recommends investing the existing state budget surplus in Bulgaria in the construction of the infrastructure. This could ensure the progress of the country with 7-8% growth rates of the economy. However such a growth will be accompanied with higher inflation, which makes necessary to postpone the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria from the year 2010 to the year 2015.
