SHAPING THE FUNCTION OF HOUSING POLICIES SPATIAL SELECTED MUNICIPALITIES IN POLAND IN THE CONTEXT OF LOCAL CONDITIONS SOCIO-ECONOMIC

Summary/Abstract: In the current legal conditions municipalities as basic units of territorial division of the country they have the greatest sway planning. Local governments conduct their own area a number of local policies, one of which the most important is the spatial policy, expressed in the theories of urban planning. Poland has a hierarchical planning system, therefore the spatial policy of the community should be consistent with the prerogatives contained in the documents of higher order and the constitutional principle of sustainable development. The article attempts to assess the association, appointed in the policies of spatial development directions feature housing with the processes of demographic and economic conditions.
