Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper was to present relations that exist between farmers running ecological organic farms and the citizens of the region as well as local representatives. It was also focused on strengthening the role of these farms in economic and social development in that area. The research was done in region of West Pomerania, in which at the end of 2014 there were 3526 registered farms. At the end there were qualified 2098 farms. With the support of surveys, there were empiric data gathered that was taken as a source data for this article.
