Summary/Abstract: Barbu Cioculescu makes a close examination on the PNTCD's evolution in the Romanian post revolution politic stage. He tries to spot the moments and errors that lead to the party's present disastrous situation. However, the author concludes, its' leaders have learned little from this defeat and the chances of regaining its' leading position in a future governmental coalition are far too remote.
