Summary/Abstract: Spa treatment is a complete set of methods of prevention and treatment and rest and recreation. The work was devoted to the medical spa, and exactly the most widely used medicinal waters. This paper describes the division of the waters, their occurrence on the Polish territory and the physical and chemical properties. It shows how they affect the body and what diseases they are used. The study lists the indications and contraindications in applying treatments with the use of water. Also lists spas, which are used for various medicinal waters.
