Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this article is to show new consumption (conscious consumerism) as one of the determinants in developing the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and implementing it by companies. The article content was determined to meet the main objective of this article. It shows the changes in consumer behaviour allowing for developing the concept of corporate social responsibility, also the concept itself has been described as well as the importance of relations with consumers in socially responsible companies.
