Summary/Abstract: The issue of this business model has a long story. Popularization was possible due to development of the Internet and dotcoms. In the contemporary environment, business models are perceived as a key source of competitive advantage. Based on the case study (PGT Healthcare) the paper is aimed at the identification of new methods of competing on the market. Strategic alliance was unique worldwide and a new form of organization as well as way of building competitive advantage were built based on both parties know-how.
