Summary/Abstract: Maxwell Kennel is a doctoral student in the department of Religious Studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. His research focuses on the relationship between metaphysics and violence in the works of continental philosophers and pacifist theologians. His recent work on “Postsecular History” will appear in Studies in Religion / Sciences Religieuses in 2017.
