Summary/Abstract: In the article is examined the complexes of the last quarter of the 6th – beginning of the 5th centuries BC from the South- Eastern of Europe. The funeral ceremony of the population of the Northern Black Sea region at this time associated with more ancient traditions only in the Forest-Steppe area. At this time there area appears sufficiently representative group of entrance burials in the Steppe, which is not connected with traditions of transitional period (second-third quarters of the 6th century BC). The funeral ceremony of these heterogeneous groups of the population evidences their forming on the partly local basis under the influence of migration of new nomadic tribes predominantly from the Northern Caucasus and more Eastern regions. The qualitative changes of the funeral traditions and forming of the whole of it complex will be linked with the transition to the second stage of the migration. We have some basis to suppose that formation of the Classical Scythia actively passed in the last quarter of the 6th – the beginning of the 5th centuries BC and it was associated with the migration of new group of nomads (Scythians) from the Pre-Caucasus area. This period was finished with the conquest of the Forest-Steppe population, establish- ing of the tributary relations with ancient Greeks and creation of the “Great” Scythia at the end of the first quarter of the 5th century BC.
